Plaza of Vescovado
From the church of Saint Peter, walking down Borgo San Pietro Street and Appolinare Street, you'll arrive in Piazza Vescovado.
This square is located out of the first city walls and it is the Episcopal see.
Exactly in this square, Saint Francis publicly renounced his father's wealth and, moreover, he wanted to be taken here just before to die in the Porziuncola, which today is into the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels.
