The Church of Saint Peter
Once we have left the Basilica of Saint Francis, we walk down Borgo San Pietro Street, up to arrive to the Benedictine church of Saint Peter (1029).
The church we can admire has been built on a previous church of the X century and it was restored in the XII (from 1253 to 1268) century.
The very main characteristic of this church is that it does not belong to the Franciscan Order because of an edict of the end of the XIII century which decreed that anybody can neither let lands to Orders different from the Franciscan one, nor even build on such lands.
The rose windows in the facade are very beauty.
